Christopher Nyerges' Walks and Words

If you are interested in wilderness survival and/or edible plants and live in Southern California, then you owe it to yourself to get in touch with Christopher Nyerges at http://www.self-reliance.net. Christopher has been conducting half-day and full-day survival walks in the Angeles National Forest since 1974. He is the author of several books and has been featured in the Los Angeles Times on a number of occasions. He has a few regulars whom you are sure to bump into: say "hello" to Dude, Thayne, and Halcon.

Although I live in Illinois, I try to attend Christopher's walks when I visit family in Southern California. This page is the index page for hikes I have taken with Christopher.
